ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional Financial Analyst based in our head office, in Mount Wellington.

You will be responsible for a full range of tasks including month end closing, , financial analysis of business performance, and providing insights and commentary for senior management on monthly management reports covering performance, risks, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. As you:

• Interpret data, analyse results using tried techniques and sound rationale , as you provide ongoing reports.
• Communicate data-driven results and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audience, as you partner with the business
• Interpreting and clearly presenting financial data
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports and ensuring timely submissions and deadlines are met
• Perform in-depth analysis, helping to define and validate requirements
• Ensure best practice across the business
• Manage and monitor dashboards to update departments on key business metrics
• Prepare monthly management reports, analyse actual performance and provide insight/commentary on variance to plan and growth on prior corresponding periods
• Analyse revenue, costs and profitability of dealerships
• Work with stakeholders across the business to obtain information for forecasting
• Analyse data flow and data gaps of financial KPIs, provide recommendations to improve data and process quality

ABOUT YOU:

Ideally you will bring with you:

• A degree in finance, mathematics, commerce, financial analysis and reporting
• A high degree of commercial acumen
• At least 3+ years of FP&A experience, commercial analysis experience and ideally automotive or FMCG industry experience in these roles, is essential
• Demonstrated problem solving skills in navigating through ambiguity and complexity
• Strong data analysis skills to handle large amount of information.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling
• Power BI experience is desirable, but not essential
• Great written and verbal communication skills, you need to be able to talk to technical, and non-technical people
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management and prioritising skills.
• Experience in report writing and presenting findings at board level
