To buy STIHL equipment from a STIHL SHOP Retailer is to buy a total package of product and service. We carry not only products, but spare parts and accessories, and have workshop staff trained by STIHL technicians. In this way, consistent, expert service is built into every product sold. It is this commitment to the customer and the product in both pre-delivery and after-sales service that positions STIHL so strongly in the market.

As our newest Retail Sales Specialist, you’ll join a high-performing, passionate and mature team of individuals, and a store that has a proud history of more than 20 years servicing the local market. This role is five days a week and full-time, with the days falling across 4 weekdays, and a shortened Saturday from 8am – 2pm. The weekday hours would most likely be 8.30-5pm.
In the summer months, this provides a massive opportunity for a wonderful work to life balance, with your afternoons free!
About you
With a history of retail excellence, you’ll join us with at least 3+ years of technical retail sales expertise and a passion for exceptional customer service. After all, without customers, we’d have no business. You are always ‘retail ready’ to serve our customers and provide suitable levels of information, to aid in closing the deal.
As a key part of our retail team, you’ll be tasked with selling equipment such as Chainsaws, Line-trimmers, Brush-cutters, Lawnmowers, Hedge-trimmers, Generators, Pressure cleaners (electric & petrol), Concrete Saws, Post Hole Borers, Sprayers, Blowers, Ride-on lawnmowers, garden hand tools, water pumps, & chipper shredders. You will also:
- Assemble and run up products before to sale (i.e. starting chainsaws, lawnmowers, when showing customers basic operations).
- Selling of products as the customer requires
- Assist with the loading and unloading vehicles, including assisting customers with loading/unloading equipment into/out of their vehicles.
- Tidying and merchandising shelves and retail displays, when required
- Answering phone calls and dealing with customer requests as required
