We’re looking for an experienced Streetlight Supervisor to join our team in Whakatāne, New Zealand. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of streetlight projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to budget, while also managing a skilled team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the streetlight team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Provide hands-on support and training as needed.
- Project Planning & Coordination: Plan, schedule, and allocate resources for streetlight construction, maintenance, and repairs. Work closely with the Delivery Programmer to ensure projects stay on track.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high-quality service and technical support.
- Health & Safety: Lead by example in promoting and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure safe work practices are always followed.
- Emergency Response: Be available for after-hours callouts to manage emergency repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborative Work: Work with key internal teams to ensure resources are available and all project details are documented accurately.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in streetlight or electrical work, with some experience in a supervisory role.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with streetlight systems, electrical distribution (up to 33kV), and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a team with a focus on performance, safety, and development.
- Customer-Focused: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications (NZQA or equivalent) and a full NZ driver’s license.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
