Are you a skilled Power Technician with expertise in protection systems, SCADA, and electrical network maintenance? We have multiple opportunities available across New Zealand's North and South Islands. This is your chance to work on exciting projects while enjoying a great work-life balance.
What You’ll Bring
- NZ Registered Electrician with 2-5 years of experience in:
- Protection systems, SCADA, PLCs, and communication networks
- Low & high-voltage network systems, protection design, and testing
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards
- Ability to work independently & make informed decisions under pressure
Your Role
As a Power Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and installation of protection systems, SCADA, and communication networks. Your work will ensure the safe and efficient operation of critical electrical networks.
Key tasks include:
- Diagnosing faults & conducting system tests
- Installing & maintaining protection relays
- Assisting with field-based projects & system improvements
- Providing technical support to engineering & operations teams
- Working safely across electrical networks, including zone substations
- Participating in the 24/7 on-call roster
